Who we are
Rhizela develops a microbial inoculant that helps farmers produce more with fewer inputs. Our conviction: living soils are productive soils. We work to make that conviction concrete and economically viable for every farmer.
Rhizela significantly reduces dependence on mineral fertilisers and the use of chemistry against pathogens — helping cut agriculture's impact on climate change and its pressure on biodiversity.
Joining Rhizela today means working directly with the founders, having real impact from day one, growing within a startup driven by strong conviction, and helping build a future-proof world. We're not offering busywork — but the chance to become a key part of a well-oiled commercial machine.
The role
We're looking for an intern who combines solid agricultural or agronomic knowledge with the soul of a genuine salesperson — someone convinced by the product. Your role is simple and demanding: convince farmers to try Rhizela.
Your missions
- Prospect and contact target farmers directly (broadacre / arable farms).
- Present the product on-farm.
- Manage and follow your portfolio: from first contact to first order.
- Bring back field feedback to sharpen our pitch and sales tools.
Your profile
We're looking for someone who understands farmers — because they come from the world of farming, or because they've chosen to know it deeply through agronomic training.
- Background in economics, agriculture, agronomy or science (BTS, Licence Pro, agricultural engineering) or significant experience in farming.
- A strong taste for selling, contact and persuasion — you're not afraid of rejection.
- Ability to build an agronomic argument.
- Autonomy and organisation: you manage your own schedule and priorities.
- Rigour in follow-up.
- Excellent French, spoken and written — it's your primary working tool.
- Professional English appreciated, not essential.
- Driving licence (Permis B).
What we offer
- Market-aligned compensation.
- Reimbursement of field travel expenses.
- Remote work with regular travel in Île-de-France and central France.
- Direct proximity to the founders: you learn fast and have real latitude.
- A genuine prospect of a permanent role after the internship for those who perform.
- “Harvest flexibility” for sons and daughters of farmers.
